The Dream of a King

In dem 2008 eröffneten Museum des international renommierten Architekten I.M. Pei – einem der herausragenden Museumsbauten der letzten Jahrzehnte – werden auf einer Fläche von 800m² rund 80 Beispiele der Schatzkunst aus der Zeit des 16. bis 18. Jahrhunderts gezeigt.

The Grünes Gewölbe (Green Vault) is guest at the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar, with a major special exhibition. The museum was designed by the internationally renowned architect I.M. Pei and opened in 2008. It counts among the most outstanding museum buildings of the past decades. There approximately 80 examples of Saxon treasure art dating from the 16th to the 18th century are to go on show on an area of 800 m².
